We take control of the day from start to finish. No need to worry about booking transport of any kind, as your group will be collected by private bus and driven out to Alella together. This fuss-free transportation is included in the price of the tour, so no need to worry about extra costs.
Vine-to-Bottle: Winery Visit
Your first stop will be a beautiful family-run organic winery. Here you will have a private tour of the winery, visiting the vines, the storage tanks, the bottling area and much more. See how a humble grape grown in the vineyards becomes a delicious glass of wine on your table!
You’ll also learn about the method that is used to make Catalonia’s answer to champagne – cava! This bubbly wine is a drink that the locals enjoy any time of day and must be tried when you’re in Alella.
Once you have seen how it’s made, you’ll sit down for a tasting of a selection of the organic wines produced at this charming bodega. The tasting will include six different wines, providing a great cross-section of Spanish wines. Whether it’s your first wine tasting or your one hundredth wine tasting, sipping wine while looking across the stunning Mediterranean Sea is sure to impress and inspire.
Over the course of the day, you will have tried: vermouth, cava, red wine, white wine and a dessert wine too!

Farm-to-Table: Three-course Lunch
After the winery visit, your group will head to the village of Alella. Before heading to the restaurant, you will stop off at a famous bodega to try vermouth straight from the barrel! This fortified wine is a favourite aperitif amongst the locals all over Catalonia.
The grand finale is a three-course-dinner in a slow food restaurant. This leisurely lunch features three amazing local dishes. Previous dishes have been:
- Starter: Roasted squash ravioli and local tomatoes with capers and olives
- Main: Roasted lamb with seasonal vegetables and goat cheese
- Dessert: Crema Catalana.
This tour is adaptable for vegetarians, pescatarians, those with gluten intolerance, and even alcohol-free guests! No one needs to miss out on this wonderful experience.
