Get your Latin Groove On
Learn to dance salsa with your friends in Barcelona

One of our most popular dance activities with our groups is an afternoon of learning to dance Salsa. It’s not just the sexiest dance on the planet but also a great team or group activity, which works as a lively ice breaker or conference breakout activity.

The salsa dance originates from Cuba and is a sensual, lively dance with simple moves that makes it really easy for beginners to pick it up. So whilst we spend many hours having a blast learning the ropes with our groups, we realised that it’s only fair to share the top 3 places to go afterwards where you can show off your new moves in the best salsa clubs in town.

Mojito Club

One of our venues for classes and probably the most famous salsa club in Barcelona where the cities hot, young latin dancers flock every weekend to get hot and steamy on the dance floor. Thursday and Friday nights are the most popular nights and the place has an unbeatable cool Latin and Cuban vibe. On Friday and Saturday nights, they change the salsa music to commercial music after 1.30. Even when the music changes though, the high energy and latin spirit remains.

Antilla Club

Athough not as well known as Mojito this is a favourite with die-hard salsa dancers. There is live music which gives the place a buzzing lively atmosphere. The average age here is also higher than at mojitos and the exotic cocktails are reason enough to pay this lovely little latin club a visit.

Bailongu

The place for the pros. If you’re feeling confident and ready and raring to go head down to this place where there will be herds of partners waiting to shake and shimmy you around the dance floor. As so many professionals practice down here it’s a great place to pick up some fantastic new moves. Even though the pro’s go here to shake their booty, this is not an intimidating place. It’s a really open-minded crowd and by the end of the night you’ll probably have danced with everyone in there.
